FIRST LEGO League Challenge is the oldest of three divisions of FIRST LEGO League, created to inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through fun hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Teams in grades 4-8 (ages 9-14*)

  • engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering
  • build and program a LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime or LEGO MINDSTORMS® robot
  • conduct a research project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem related to the annual theme
  • guided by FIRST Core Values

Form Your Team of  2-10 students (NM FLL & FIRST do not match children with existing teams)
