Volunteers
FIRST Volunteers have FUN!
Volunteer Information

To volunteer --
ALL volunteers must register and be assigned through the FIRST Dashboard

1. Create an account or log in to your FIRST Dashboard 

2. Click the Volunteer Registration tab & choose ‘Volunteer at an Event’.

3. Filter events by location/ program and select an event.

4. Choose up to five roles and apply.



Please be sure to sign all aknowledgement forms especially your Consent & Release form and complete YPP background screening. You can't be assigned to a role until screening is complete.

You will receive an email from your local event coordinator when you are assigned to a volunteer role. It will contain day of logistics and training information.
Volunteer Training
Judges
ALL judges should complete online certification. 
Final training will be with the Judge Advisor the morning of the event. 

Judge training modules will be accessed through your Dashboard once you receive your assignment. See the Note on the lower section of your assignment e-mail.
All other volunteers
You will receive specific job training at the event. 
Referees
ALL referees should complete online certification. Final training will be with the Head Referee the morning of the event. 

Referee training modules will be accessed through your Dashboard once you receive your assignment. See the Note on the lower section of your assignment e-mail.
