New Mexico FIRST® LEGO® League
FIRST® Tech Challenge
FTC teams develop strategy, build robots using a reusable, modular kit of parts, and compete head to head. Students learn to think like engineers.

Students in grades 9-12 (ages 14-18) get to:
  • Design, build, and program robots based on sound engineering principles
  • Get hands-on programming and rapid-prototyping experience
  • Develop stratigic problem-solving, organizational, and team-building skills
  • Qualify for millions of dollars in scholarships

FTC Tournament Results 2012-2013 Season

AHERT Ravens -  team 5132,  participated in the Arizona FTC Championship Tournament on January 18, 2013. 

Their team won the Arizona Inspire Award!! (equivalent to the FLL Champions Award) and will be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 24-27, 2013.

The Memes - team 5958, participated in the Texas FTC Lubbock Championship Tournament on March 2, 2013.

Panthers - team 6185, participated in the Texas FTC Lubbock Championship Tournament on March 2, 2013.

Eagle electroBots - team 6529, participated in the Texas FTC Lubbock Championship Tournament on March 2, 2013.

Their team won the Think Award and were part of the winning alliance.

Dutch 200 - team 5666, and Dukes - team 6697 participated in the Wyoming FTC  Championship Tournament on March 16, 2013.

Dutch 200 won the Wyoming Inspire Award!! - and will also be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 24-27, 2013.

FTC Championship Results 2011-2012 Season

AHERT Ravens -  team 5132,  participated in the Oklahoma FTC State Championship Tournament on March 2-3, 2012.

Their team was the Captain of the winning alliance and will be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 25-28, 2012.

They also received - Inspire Award 3rd place, Think Award, and Promote Award

Dutch 200 -  team 5666 & Lobonauts team -  5388 participated in the Colorado FTC State Championship Tournament on March 17, 2012. 

Dutch 200 was the Captain of the winning alliance and will be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 25-28, 2012.
