New Mexico FIRST® LEGO® League
FIRST® Tech Challenge

FTC teams develop strategy, build robots using a reusable, modular kit of parts, and compete head to head. Students learn to think like engineers.

Students in grades 9-12 (ages 14-18) get to:

  • Design, build, and program robots based on sound engineering principles
  • Get hands-on programming and rapid-prototyping experience
  • Develop stratigic problem-solving, organizational, and team-building skills
  • Qualify for millions of dollars in scholarships

FTC Oklahoma Championship Results

Our New Mexico AHERT Ravens team 5132 participated in the Oklahoma FTC State Championship Tournament on March 2-3, 2012.

Their team was the Captain of the winning alliance and will be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 25-28, 2012.

They also received - Inspire Award 3rd place, Think Award, and Promote Award

FTC Colorado Championship Results


2 New Mexico teams - Dutch 200 team 5666 & Lobonauts team 5388 participated in the Colorado FTC State Championship Tournament on March 17, 2012.

was the Captain of the winning alliance and will be attending the FIRST World Festival in St Louis April 25-28, 2012.

in conjunction with the
New Mexico State FLL Championship Tournament
took place on January 21, 2012
at New Life Baptist Academy
